Neubau tower nursery — 15 m²

A west-facing room in a 2nd-district tower needed blackout control and a wardrobe that cleared the radiator cover. We kept the crib on the cooler wall, ran a single joinery run with toddler hooks at 90 cm, and left a 1.8 m clear floor for crawling. Fee sat in Row A; parents sourced the crib themselves from a list with EUR ranges.

Josefstadt shared Altbau room

Two school-age siblings shared a 17 m² room with a deep window seat. Twin beds along the long wall, a low book ledge under the sill, and wardrobes split left/right avoided a bunk that would have blocked the tall window. Soft acoustic panels behind headboards cut courtyard echo. This followed Row B with an evening measure slot.

Mariahilf play strip beside a desk

A family wanted homework and play in one Neubau room without a full remodel. We defined a 2.2 m play rug zone with wall-mounted cube storage at mixed heights, then a compact desk facing the quieter wall. Cable management sat inside a shallow skirting channel so toys could not yank chargers. Row A plus a €320 sourcing fee for the desk and cubes.

Wieden storage rebuild

An existing Ikea-style wall of open cubes buried clothes under toys. We replaced it with closed lower cabinets, open mid shelves at child reach, and a top adult-only band for seasonal textiles. Radiator depth forced a 32 cm carcass instead of a deep wardrobe. See the storage-heights accordion pages for the measure logic we reused.
